About P&O Cruises
P&O claim to have invented cruising! After 170 years of creating cruise vacations, P&O prides itself on being Britain's leading cruise company. Cruises are designed with the British market specifically in mind. The language on board the ship is English and the currency is Sterling.
P&O Cruises range from one week holidays, romantic city breaks, a fortnight in the Caribbean,to complete world expeditions of up to 103 nights long.
They offer three distinct styles of holiday experience across their ships. On board the Arcadia or Oceana and you will enjoy a modern and innovative cruise. Aurora and Oriana offer a holiday experience that combines a sense of history and sophistication with modern facilities. The smallest ship, Artemis, provides a more traditional experience and is perfect if you like the idea of a sense of camaraderie on your holiday. You can also choose between child-free or child-friendly ships.
You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to what to do during your P&O Cruise while on board the ship. You can laze by the pool and relax in the jacuzzi or be pampered in the spa. Every P&O Cruise ship has a fully-equipped gym, many with incredible sea views. There are all sorts of exercise and dance classes that you can join and golf swing lessons too for those golf fanatics out there. In the shops on board you can purchase jewellery, gifts and clothing. You can even attend an art auction.
24 hours a day, you will be presented with food fit for a King. From breakfast to lunch, to dinner, to afternoon tea to snacks served all day long, you will never go hungry. You can enjoy breakfast in bed, outside on deck or inside the restaurant. For lunch you can eat a five-course meal in the restaurant, enjoy a buffet on deck, or an outdoor barbecue. The highlight of the day for most cruisers is the evening five to six-course dinner with a great range of choices available to suit all taste buds.
There are themed dining evenings on certain nights, where you are presented with food from around the world. Children's menus are available and a special children's tea means that parents can enjoy their meal in peace.
There are great facilities for children and teenagers, on Aurora, Arcadia and Oriana there are even supervised night nurseries.
There is a wide range of evening entertainment on board a P&O Cruise that is catered to British tastes, including a theatre hosting a variety of shows, a cinema, bars, and casinos.
If it is your honeymoon or special anniversary, P&O will help you celebrate in style.
