Babysitting
Babysitting services vary from ship to ship. Some make a charge, others don't. Try P&O's ships if you are travelling with children under 5 years, they provide a complimentary night nursery operating from 6pm until 2am, run by fully-qualified staff.

Cabins
With a little careful planning we'll help you enjoy a hassle-free holiday. Consider how far away from a lift your cabin is, or choose one with a bath (good for those with babies and small children). Cots are normally provided free of charge, bed rails can be requested.

Food
Most cruise lines provide baby foods, special diets, highchairs and special childrens teas. At breakfast and lunch, families sit together in the informal eating areas. Many cabins now have fridges so you can keep your children's favourite juices cool.

Safety
Safety on-board is always taken seriously, even more so where children are concerned. Lots of the newer ships offer cabins with balconies and most cruise lines will provide netting to make the balcony area safe.
