Enclosed or open motor launches (called `tenders`) are used when your cruise ship is unable to berth at a port or island. In these cases, a regular launch service is operated between ship and shore for the duration of the port call. |

Some ships are fitted with self-service laundrettes, equipped with washers, dryers, and ironing facilities, often at no charge. All ships offer a laundry service, chargeable to your on board account. |

Safety at sea is the number one consideration of all members of the ship's crew. A lifeboat drill is held within the first 24 hours of your cruise to ensure passengers know exactly what procedures there are in the unlikely event of an emergency. |

Many cruiselines do not have a limit on how much luggage you can bring. However, if you are flying to your departure destination, your flight will have a limit. Please check with your cruiseline and then the airline to find out exact restrictions. |
