It is necessary to declare any medication that you are taking before travel. This will enable the ship's medical crew to treat you accordingly should the need arise. Please also ensure that you take sufficient supplies of your medication with you. |

Most cruise ships operate primarily in US dollars but some operate in other currencies, predominantly UK Sterling. Major credit cards and travellers' cheques are accepted on board (few take personal cheques). See CASHLESS CRUISING. |

Some cruise ships have a movie theatre. The movies shown are recent releases. Some of the recently built or modified ships have replaced or supplemented the ship's movie theatre with television sets and video players in each cabin. |
